Is it worth trying?
We developed PEACE PAWZ after experiencing cat bullying in our own home and struggling to find an effective solution. Our tags are designed to gently interrupt aggressive behavior and help discourage repeated incidents over time. While results vary from cat to cat, we believe PEACE PAWZ offers a promising approach to improving harmony in multi-cat households.
Will this hurt my cat?
PEACE PAWZ Tags do not use electric shocks or painful corrections. When activated, the Receiver Tag gently vibrates and emits a mild rattling sound designed to interrupt unwanted behavior without causing pain. If your cat shows signs of distress, discontinue use.
How long before I see results?
Every cat is different. Some may respond relatively quickly, while others may need several weeks of consistent use. We recommend allowing up to six weeks to evaluate whether PEACE PAWZ is helping reduce aggressive incidents. Results vary depending on your cats' personalities, behavior, and environment, and improvement is not guaranteed.
What is the range?
When the Transmitter and Receiver Tags get within about 2-3 feet of one another, and are facing one another, the Receiver Tag will activate. The range is a function of distance, angle, and incident light.
Is the sound loud?
No. The rattling sound is quite mild and meant only to get the attention of the aggressor animal.
Can the tags be turned off?
Peace Pawz Tags are designed for continuous operation and do not have an on/off switch. Removing a tag from your cat will not turn off its electronics. Do not attempt to open the enclosure or remove the battery.
Can phone cameras set off the Receiver Tag?
Possibly. Some smartphones emit infrared light pulses that can occasionally trigger the Receiver Tag. We've designed PEACE PAWZ to minimize interference from common electronic devices, but false activations may still occur. To reduce the likelihood, keep phone cameras at least four feet away from the Receiver Tag.
Can I use PEACE PAWZ Tags on kittens?
No. PEACE PAWZ Tags are intended for healthy adult domestic cats only. Kittens frequently exhibit chasing, wrestling, and other behaviors that may appear aggressive but are actually normal parts of their development and socialization.
How long do the batteries last?
Battery life of the Transmitter Tag is approximately 1 year. Battery life of the Receiver Tag is a strong function of how often it activates. With infrequent activation, it could also last a full year. With more frequent activation, that time could reduce significantly.
Can the batteries be changed?
The batteries are not user-replaceable. Peace Pawz Tags contain long-life CR1225 lithium button cell batteries and are not designed to be opened by customers. Do not attempt to open the tags or remove their batteries. If battery replacement is necessary, please contact Peace Pawz for authorized service instructions.
Are the tags waterproof?
Peace Pawz Tags are not waterproof. Minor splashes may be tolerated, but the tags should never be immersed in water. If a tag becomes submerged or significantly wet, remove it from your cat, discontinue use, and contact Peace Pawz for guidance. Do not open the enclosure or attempt to remove the battery.
How is this different from shock collars?
PEACE PAWZ Tags do not use any form of electrical shock.
Can the tags be used outdoors?
PEACE PAWZ Tags are designed for indoor use only. Sunlight can cause the Receiver Tag to become less sensitive.
When will I get my order?
In-stock orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information when available. Delivery generally takes an additional 3–7 business days, depending on your location.
Do you guarantee the tags will solve my cat aggression issues?
Peace Pawz is designed to help discourage certain unwanted cat behaviors. However, individual cats may respond differently, and results cannot be guaranteed. Factors such as temperament, environment, and consistency of use may affect effectiveness. Because behavioral outcomes vary, we do not accept returns or offer refunds solely because the product does not produce the desired change in a cat's behavior.
